Successful Completion of the 6th“National Award for Distinguished Contribution to Industry-Academia Cooperation” in 2023

The "National Award for Distinguished Contribution to Industry-Academia Cooperation" stands as the highest honor award for vocational & technical colleges and universities in Taiwan. It has been administered by the Ministry of Education since 2018, it has entered the 6th time this year (2023). This esteemed award is designed to acknowledge the full-time faculty of vocational & technical colleges and universities who have significantly advanced professional practical research and whose work has profoundly influenced industry. It is hoped that substantial encouragement will be used to enable outstanding faculties to inspire ideas and embody vocational & technical talents.

In order to select national industry-academia masters, the Ministry of Education has specially appointed Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association (TWAEA) to administer “National Award for Distinguished Contribution to Industry-Academia Cooperation”. Adhering to stringent selection benchmarks, nominees are subject to a comprehensive and unbiased three-tiered evaluation comprising an initial review, a secondary review, and a concluding final review. The culmination of this meticulous process all completed on October 16, 2023. All finalized candidates actively showcased their substantial contributions to industry-academia cooperation and talent cultivation. The selection team will finally select the winders. The award ceremony will be as usual, and awards and recognition will be given at another time.
