"Academic Years 2024-2028 Technical and Vocational College Evaluation Practice Workshop" to Be Held Soon

The Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association has been commissioned by the Ministry of Education to handle "evaluation-related work for universities of science and technology." The new evaluation cycle has entered its second academic year. To enhance participating schools' understanding of the substantive content of this cycle's indicator verification items, key preparation work for evaluation, and implementation practices for internal control and audit systems within schools, the association will continue to hold "Academic Years 2024-2028 Technical and Vocational College Evaluation Practice Workshops" for the Southern and Northern regions on May 6 and May 12, respectively. Senior committee members and relevant field experts and scholars will be invited to conduct thematic lecture presentations.

The hope is that through these successive workshops, schools will be assisted in analyzing indicator terminology, handling evaluation documents such as self-evaluation reports, self-improvement plans, and implementation outcome data, while being able to implement the essential principles of internal control and auditing item by item. Beyond further perfecting subsequent related evaluation operations, the workshops aim to assist schools in enhancing institutional governance and teaching quality, continuously laying a solid foundation for Taiwan's technical and vocational education.
