THE FIRST ON-SITE VISIT TO VIETNAMESE UNIVERSITY UNDER IJAS PROJECT

The iJAS project, jointly promoted by TWAEA, JUAA, ONESQA, and MNCEA, conducted an on-site visit to Vietnam Japan University (VJU) on March 6-7, 2025, marking a significant milestone in regional higher education quality assurance cooperation. The iJAS international accreditation framework covers key areas such as institutional governance, teaching and research, and student learning. The review team, composed of experts from Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam, conducted comprehensive evaluations through on-site observations and interviews to assess the university’s strengths and areas for improvement. This visit not only fosters academic exchange within the Asian region but also lays a solid foundation for future cross-border accreditation cooperation, further enhancing the international competitiveness of higher education in the region.
