Professional assessment and evaluation personnel from Taiwan, Thailand, and Japan visit Thailand for further research and learning

To assist Taiwan's universities to promote international collaborations, Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association (TWAEA) has accomplished universities' international joint accreditation with Japan and Thailand. To stimulate even closer partnerships amongst cross-border professional assessment and evaluation organizations, TWAEA has scheduled successive organization-to-organization visits amongst Japan University Accreditation Association (JUAA) and Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA) since 2017, continuing to exchange ideas regarding the content of actual research topics.

After Taiwan and Japan had both hosted the meeting in 2018, ONESQA of Thailand served as the host in February 2019 for the third learning exchange of cross-border organizations. The topic this time, Preparedness of EQA Agency in a Disruptive World, was sub-categorized into four topics for more in-depth discussions. These categories included assessment of students' learning effectiveness conducted by schools and quality assurance organizations, assistance on schools' quality enhancement, the relationship between assessment and society, application of information technology. The three participating organizations all proposed their knowledge and views on these four topics in the hope that the parties would be prepared for the possible challenges that lie ahead in the field of assessment and evaluation.
