TWAEA Promotes the Professional Evaluation Organizations International Internship Program - Taiwanese, Thai, and Japanese International Interns Gather in Taiwan for the First Time in December 2023 to Experience On-Site Evaluation
The Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association (TWAEA), in collaboration with the Japan University Accreditation Association (JUAA) and the Thailand's Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA), have been organizing annual staff training events among the three parties since 2017, continuing to engage through online video conferencing during the pandemic to foster close ties between TWAEA and its key international partners. Building on this foundation, the three parties proposed the concept of an International Internship Program for the first time in 2023, with TWAEA hosting the inaugural program. Each organization selected one to two representatives to participate as interns in this initiative.
Following the online opening ceremony on August 17, 2023, in alignment with TWAEA's implementation of the Ministry of Education's evaluation project for technology colleges and universities, various themed online exchange events were organized on August 23, October 2, and October 30. This program further scheduled international interns to visit Taiwan from December 18 to 23, 2023, for on-site observations and inspections. By actively participating in the evaluation of Taiwan's technological colleges and universities, this event aims to welcome back face-to-face interactions, deepening the network of professional exchanges and cooperation among international partners.
