TWAEA, JUAA and ONESQA connect to the international stage for new opportunities

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, field exchange, travel, and other international activities have not yet been restored to pre-outbreak levels. 

Therefore, the inter-agency staff exchange among Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association (TWAEA), Japan University Accreditation Association (JUAA), and the Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment of Thailand (ONESQA), which is run on a rotation basis, continues to be organised as an online video meeting. 

The event was successfully held on 1 December 2020, with the subject of Training Program and Evaluation Mechanism for Assessors. The three agencies shared experiences on reviewers’ training methods, program contents, and feedback investigation. In particular, considering the effects of the outbreak at present, organising training programs with minimum physical contact and personnel movement became the focus for exploration and discovery.

JUAA also invited the Center for Education Accreditation, Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City (CEA VNU-HCM) to join this event as an observer to understand the process of the program in the hope of broadening the international horizons through the interaction among personnel from different organisations.
