The Ministry of Education’s workshop on the recognition and guidance of teacher qualification self-assessments at postsecondary institutions has been successfully completed.

The workshop for the second semester of Academic Year 114 (2025), organized under the Ministry of Education’s “Accreditation and Guidance Program for Teacher Qualifications at Postsecondary Institutions,” was held on September 24, 2025. Co-organized by the Ministry of Education and the Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association (TWAEA), the workshop aimed to help participating institutions understand the accreditation and guidance procedures, clarify key points in preparing self-evaluation reports, and stay informed about the schedule for subsequent on-site visits.

During the workshop, the project team provided an overview of the on-site visit and guidance process, the essential elements of self-evaluation report preparation, principles for arranging interviewees, and common questions encountered during reviews. The team also responded to practical concerns raised by the schools, such as visit scheduling, data submission requirements, and related regulations. Active discussion among school representatives contributed to clearer understanding and offered practical reference for preparing for upcoming visits and for strengthening internal implementation teams.

Going forward, TWAEA’s project office will continue to support the Ministry of Education in promoting the Accreditation and Guidance Program. Through on-site visits, advisory support, and various exchange mechanisms, the program aims to help institutions strengthen their self-evaluation systems, protect teachers’ rights, and enhance the overall quality of higher education.
