The selection process for the 2025 (8th) National Award for Distinguished Contribution to Industry–Academia Cooperation has successfully concluded.
To strengthen the role of technical and vocational education and highlight its emphasis on practical application, the Ministry of Education established the National Industry–Academia Master Award, the highest honor in Taiwan’s technical and vocational education system. The award recognizes full-time faculty members at technical and vocational institutions who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in industry–academia collaboration, practical research and development, and the cultivation of technical talent.
This year, the Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association (TWAEA) was once again commissioned by the Ministry of Education to administer the selection process for the 8th edition of the award. In accordance with the Ministry’s selection guidelines, each finalist demonstrated significant accomplishments in applied research, practical innovation, and talent cultivation within their respective fields.
Following a rigorous and impartial three-stage review process—comprising the preliminary, secondary, and final evaluations—the review committee finalized the list of award recipients on October 13, 2025. As in previous years, the award ceremony will be held at a later date.
Information about the award and a special feature on the awardees are available on the official National Industry–Academia Master Award website: https://iac.twaea.org.tw/masteraward. We welcome continued support and engagement from all sectors.
