Ministry of Education Announces 2025 Industry Academy Program Application Results

The Ministry of Education's “Industry Academy Program,” launched in 2014, has entered its 12th year. The 2025 application results have been announced on the Ministry of Education's Industry-Academia Cooperation Information Network - Industry Academy Section. The program is divided into “Option 1: Industry Practice Talent Cultivation Special Classes” and “Option 2: Enhancement of Faculty and Student Practical Competency Program,” encouraging universities and colleges to strengthen talent cultivation by integrating industry demands.

Option 1 aligns with the government's six core strategic industries (including semiconductors, information security, 5G and next-generation communications, green energy and renewable energy, precision health, and national defense aerospace) as well as the “5+2” innovative industries, focusing on professional technical talent urgently needed by industry. Option 2 emphasizes enhancing faculty and student practical capabilities, aligning with national key industrial development sectors, promoting faculty and student competency in innovative implementation and problem-solving abilities.

The Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association, commissioned by the Ministry of Education to conduct this program's review process, approved schools including technological universities and general universities. The program content encompasses diverse fields, demonstrating higher education institutions' long-term ambition to integrate regional development with industrial trends. Subsequent implementation will proceed according to the program schedule, cultivating technical talent that meets industry trends and practical demands.
