Implementation Plan for the Evaluation of Technical Colleges for the 2024 Academic Year Announced in January 2024

The Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association (TWAEA) has been entrusted by the Ministry of Education to conduct evaluations for technical colleges. Currently, the evaluation cycle from the 2019 to 2023 academic years is nearing its end, and the Ministry of Education has already planned the implementation content for the school evaluation cycle from the 2024 to 2028 academic years, with the new cycle set to commence shortly. To assist the new cycle of technical colleges under evaluation to further understand the evaluation indicators, dimensions, and related operational content, TWAEA held three “2024-2028 Academic Year Technical Colleges Evaluation Practice Workshops” on October 2, 5, and 6 last year (2023), in both the northern and southern regions, with a total of 68 schools participating. On January 11, 2024, the “2024 Academic Year Technical Colleges Evaluation Implementation Plan” approved by the Ministry of Education was announced and communicated to each of the evaluated schools for the 2024 academic year.
